Hole marking

When marking holes, some points should be taken into account:

1. When marking the holes for the bottom, measure 68 mm from the bottom (60 mm base height, chipboard thickness 16 mm), to make a hole in the center, divide 16 in half. Leaves a total height of 68 mm for two pedestals.
2. When marking the holes on the plinth in width and height (from the edge), measure 3 mm each. For two pedestals.
3. When marking the holes on the side wall No. 1 80 mm (tie bar) measure the width from the edge of the side wall 40 mm and the height 8 mm.
4. For drawer side No. 2 200 mm: width 100 mm and height 8 mm.
5. Shelf markings (table pedestals 75-30-СБ) 192 mm width from the top and 6 mm from the edges.
6. Drawer side holes No. 2 with a shelf: 6 at the edges, 8 mm at the bottom.
7. Marking holes for boxes 8 mm from the edge, and half from the top. Find the center of the facade and make holes for the handles.

Edge gluing

After marking the holes, you should glue the edge parts of the chipboard with the edge and start assembling the table. Apply the tape to the edge of the material and use a hot iron to heat it and thereby attach the tape to the sidewall, then press the edge with a rag and wipe it. Then trim off the excess edge and sandpaper.

Assembly of the table and installation of fittings

You can start assembling the table. We start the assembly from a 75 by 40 pedestal. We fasten the bottom, plinths and two tsars to the side wall with confirmations, then we fasten the second side wall, nail the fiberboard at the back, fasten the parts. We collect the boxes, take the base (sides and backs), fasten, fill the bottom. We install the guides, preferably in the center (if there are deviations, it’s not scary), attach the box to the pedestal and make markings for the second part of the guide. Fasten with screws, insert boxes. We put the facade, fasten the handles. We assemble the curbstone 75-30 similarly to the first curbstone. We twist the corner walls No. 1 and No. 2 together. We attach the drawer unit No. 1 to the curbstone 75-40, attach the shelf and drawer No. 2 to the curbstone 75-30, attach the two obtained parts to the corner walls and cover with a lid on top. We fix it with corners, on screws.

By analogy with this table, you can make any other, it is not necessary to take the standard sizes that are indicated here, you can choose your own and make detailing on them. Choose a color according to your taste and your interior, add your own elements to the table (for example, hanging shelves). It all depends only on your imagination.
