Facade panels

Operating procedure
1. We mount and level the lathing made of wood or galvanized profile.
2. Install the corner elements and framing of openings.
3. Install the starting profile (cornice) for the first panel.
4. We mount the panels from left to right, from bottom to top, observing the overlap of the joints.
Advantages:
- Ease of installation. Facade panels are installed in the same way as conventional vinyl siding.
- Can be combined with insulation.
- More reliable interpanel connection system, sometimes with plastic latches (anti-hurricane fasteners).
- High strength due to the thickness of the material (1.5–2 mm) and stiffening ribs formed by the relief of the pattern.
- Insensitivity to organic matter, wind, moisture.

Disadvantages:
- The panels are 400-500 mm wide, therefore they are attached to the lathing from four sides (additional profile consumption).
- Higher cost of the panels themselves.

Non-ventilated facade – the wall is insulated according to the thermos principle.

Thermal panels
They are high grade expanded polystyrene slabs (25, 35), on which the front side is decorated in the form of clinker brickwork or stone relief. The scope of delivery usually includes a plinth profile, facade dowels, embedded elements and joint grout.
Operating procedure
1. We mark the beginning of finishing (from below) with the help of a hydro level and mount the starting profile with dowels with a step of 500 mm. The distance from the wall should be 10–20 mm, using embedded elements (plastic washers).
Attention! It is necessary to leave a technological gap of 30-40 mm between the blind area and the starting profile in order to avoid damage to the facade during its deformation.
2. Fill the space between the profile and the wall with mounting foam.
3. When installing the first panel from the corner, we cut it along the joint at 45 degrees.
4. At the edge of the joint we make a groove 30 mm wide and 10-15 mm deep for laying the polyurethane foam.
5. Apply foam under each first panel of a row.
6. Install the first panel.
7. In case of uneven walls – level the panel. The sinus should be no more than 50 mm. We put plastic washers for temporary fixation.
8. Fixing boxes are poured into each panel in the marked places. Otherwise, weld-shaped metal washers are on the outside and are clearly visible. We drill holes in the panels at the “seams” along the marked holes.
9. In the holes we run the foam so that it fills the space at the point of attachment. Do not pour the entire cylinder there – this will not improve the properties of the facade.
Attention! Use the supplied dowels (plastic sheath with screw stem). The working length of the dowel is equal to double the thickness of the board plus 20 mm.
10. Key point. Extremely carefully fix the panel to the wall with dowels using a punch – the dowel head should sit tightly into the mounting box, but not transfer the material.
11. Fill the hole with foam up to the dowel.
12. We fill with foam the outer gap of the sinus between the wall and the panel along the perimeter.
13. On hidden surfaces, half-tenon and half-groove axle boxes may not be, but these places must be securely fixed. To do this, you can use ordinary “umbrellas”, having previously cut the seat for the hat with a “feather”.
