Of course, modern split systems are used to cool rooms today, which do an excellent job with their duties. But sitting indoors all summer is insulting and simply impossible. Foggers will help to escape the heat on the street, which, even at a temperature of +45 degrees, can make staying in the heat much more comfortable.
Advanced gardeners install fog systems in greenhouses to create optimal conditions for a rich harvest. Sometimes such a system becomes an addition to drip or automatic irrigation. However, the fogger can be installed, for example, on the terrace, veranda, roof of an open gazebo, just near the pool of a country house.
A fairly simple fogger is a fan with water supply through nozzles. However, a more efficient fogging system designed for large areas is a pump and pipes with nozzles that produce tiny water droplets – this is artificial fog. Ideal working conditions for such a system are temperatures from +29 to +45 degrees and humidity from 40% to 80%. In such conditions, the fogger can reduce the temperature in the area by 10 or even 15 degrees. The humidity will, of course, rise, but not so much that you feel uncomfortable.
Fogging systems are divided into two types:
- Low pressure. In this case, the resulting water droplets will be quite large – about 100 microns. That is, they will not evaporate in the air, the floor and walls, for example, verandas where you decided to install the system, will be wet.
- High pressure – 50 to 100 bar. In this case, the droplets coming out of the nozzles will be no more than 1-15 microns in size. Such droplets evaporate easily completely, no wet surfaces will be.
It is only for you to choose a system, perhaps for areas near plants, incomplete evaporation of fog drops will even be beneficial and will allow you to moisten the soil. But for verandas with garden furniture, it is better to choose a high pressure fogging system.
The advantage of the artificial fog education system is the ability to use it in any space. A total of four nozzles can be installed at the corners of the gazebo to create a fog curtain, a pool or large terrace can be surrounded by the system. In addition, such a fog curtain, installed along the perimeter of a certain area or structure, will perfectly scare away insects, keep dust and hot dry air as a barrier. Inside the perimeter, a comfortable atmosphere will be created for relaxing on the site in summer, the plants will also feel great.
But the fogging system also has enough disadvantages. One of them, quite significant, is the high price. The cost of the fogging system can exceed 55 thousand rubles, and installation in case of contacting professionals – 5 thousand rubles per square meter. It is difficult to install the fog generation system on your own, you need the right approach to design and installation for everything to work perfectly.
Another disadvantage is the consumption of water and electricity. Of course, the costs are not high if a modern energy-saving system is chosen, but they are.
Whether or not to buy a fogger is up to you, of course. It seems that this option for cooling certain areas of a summer cottage or a country estate in any case deserves your attention..
