The technology for gluing drywall will depend on how uneven your wall is:

- Curvature up to 20 mm. In this case, cakes of the required thickness are made from gypsum glue. As in the photo above;
- In the case of a wall curvature of more than 20 millimeters, you will need to put plasterboard strips under the sheet. They are needed because too thick a layer of glue, too massive cakes will not be able to securely hold the sheet on the wall. Therefore, first, strips of plasterboard with a width of 10 to 12 cm are glued, and then, when the glue dries, the sheet itself. Also on glue.

Do not forget to place a backing under the sheet to be glued in order to leave a minimum of 10 mm from the floor. We create the same indent from the ceiling so that the drywall freely narrows and expands, excess moisture evaporates from the applied glue. We attach the sheet to the wall and align vertically. To do this, you need a long level and a rubber mallet, which you will need to lightly tap on the drywall. Note that it will not be possible to hang something heavy on the wall, which was leveled with sheets of drywall planted with glue. This is a great option if you don’t want to waste time leveling the wall with several layers of plaster along the beacons, but, as you can see, there is a minus.
