This is approximately 2–3 mm, depending on the manufacturer of the compound. Five millimeters is already a lot in most cases. We do not level the wall with a bark beetle, but only decorate it. Without experience, do not apply large areas at once, but do not stain the bark beetle on the wall. Apply an area of ​​3-4 m2 from top to bottom and from a corner, for example, to a window slope. Pay attention to the time. First, select an area that you will cover with plaster in no more than 20-30 minutes. After covering a section of the wall with plaster, the bark beetle proceeds to giving it texture.

Shaping is done with a polyurethane plaster trowel. The easiest thing to start with, but this does not mean bad, is to give the plaster a vertical pattern. To do this, with not strong, uniform movements of the grater from bottom to top and top to bottom, we draw on the layer of the applied bark beetle. Keep in mind that the plaster layer is small, do not overdo it. When applying a vertical pattern, movements with a float from side to side or circular are not allowed.
