The place for a cat in the fresh air can be very different – from a simple homemade box with a net, installed on the window, to a real cat town with bridges and couches..
Usually such catios are installed directly on the window, next to it, on the balcony, near the wall of the house, on the veranda – at the front door, so that the pet has the opportunity to go out on the promenade on its own.
Is a catio or cat-patio just limited to cats, or can it be used for other small pets? I’m curious to know if it’s suitable for something like a hamster or a rabbit.
