If the documents for the apartment are lost, then the housing can be sold according to an extract from the register, which is issued by the Registration Committee. True, in this case, one must bear in mind that, theoretically, an extract can be taken at least every day. That is, a situation is possible when the seller, having accepted your advance payment, will sell his apartment to another buyer tomorrow.
