Light and hearty meal for the whole family
Ingredients:
- Rice โ 1 cup;
- Small onion;
- Medium carrots;
- Asparagus beans (frozen) โ 150-200 grams;
- Garlic โ 2-3 cloves;
- Water โ 2.5 cups;
- Seasonings, Peppers and Salt.
Instructions for cooking
1. Vegetables should be peeled and chopped: onions and carrots โ medium cubes, and garlic โ chopped very finely.
2. In a pan (you can use a cauldron), heat the vegetable oil.
3. Add chopped onion and fry for 1-2 minutes, until the edges become transparent.
4. Add carrots and continue to fry all together.
5. As soon as the carrots and onions are lightly browned, add the garlic and frozen asparagus beans (you can also use fresh). Stir and fry for another 30 seconds.
6. Add rice, salt, seasonings and water. Shuffle to combine everything.
7. Cover and put in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
8. After 25 minutes, remove the rice and the rice is ready to serve.!
