Operating principle

Fluralaner blocks glutamate-dependent and GABA-dependent arthropod receptors, overexcites neurons, and disrupts the transmission mechanism of nerve impulses, which leads to paralysis and death of parasites. Bravecto tablets are given orally, after which they are easily absorbed into the bloodstream. Within 1 day, the maximum concentration of the active substance is observed, then another 85 days in the plasma there is an insectoacaricidal amount of fluralaner. 100% of fleas perishes in 8 hours after reception, 99% of ticks – in 12 hours. Parasites do not develop drug resistance.

Side effects and contraindications

Dogs tolerate Bravecto well. Do not give tablets to puppies whose age has not reached 8 weeks, animals weighing less than 2 kg. Do not repeat taking the drug in the presence of individual intolerance to the components. In case of an overdose, the following conditions can be observed:

• increased salivation;
• loss of appetite;
