Welcome to Forum City! Brazilian architecture firm DOMO Arquitetos presents Migliari Guimarães House.

The house was finished in 2013 and consists of several modules. They are connected in a clever way so that the rooms are filled with natural light.

The Migliari Guimarães House is located in a small residential complex. The client's predilection for urbanism presented the architects with a challenge. How to incorporate this design into an environment far removed from urban dynamics? It was decided to create a house closed to the view from the street and open a panoramic view from the patio. Since there's no city life here, there's no point in communicating the house with the street through transparent details and open spaces.

The architects didn't use traditional windows as a link between the street and the room. They have been replaced so as to show the square footage of the building in a new way.
Windows in bedrooms face the sunny side. The rooms are grouped together to show a peculiar unity of family life. Glass doors bring people closer to nature. The owners can enjoy the proximity of the forest without leaving their living room.
No doors between the bedrooms, living room and service areas. But the main design feature is the triangular glass inserts that offer a view of the sky. By day, it's just empty shapes with no hint of content. But as night falls, the lights come on. That's when the house is filled with the mystery of life.
