Designers at i29 interior architects created large spaces throughout the house made of wood, combining different areas. Walls, cabinets, sliding doors, beds, walk-in closets and even the fireplace are all made of the same material. The pine paneling, which is typically used as a substrate, served as a high-end finishing touch in the home’s fine details. The interiors are functionally open, in light colours, combined with wooden details and modern minimalism.
The aluminium staircase, which prominently stands out, is the highlight of the project. The main purpose of the design in this project was to create a comfortable comfortable living space, as well as a compact distribution of all the details in the interior. The walls, ceiling and floor are painted white, while the table, sofa and built-in fireplace are in a dark gray anthracite shade. Such a color scheme and careful selection of materials allowed to create the effect of visual expansion.
The villa has two floors and a simple rectangular shape. The first one has a bedroom and a spacious living room with three glass walls, providing a beautiful view and a powerful inflow of sunlight, on the second – three more bedrooms. In the process of designing this house, the architectural firm first of all carefully looked for a picturesque place for the house, such as the Dutch national park Kennemer, and 100% achieved in their work a harmony of the surrounding landscape with the interior, which was the main wish of the customers.
