The project sits on the site of an old barn destroyed by fire. Friends and family gather here for the annual tree planting.
According to the architects, the geometry of the building space is quite complex and has a shift at the front of the house due to the internal shape and arrangement of the walls, battens and window frames.
The house uses a rich palette of materials, from corrugated galvanized iron for the exterior to wood for the interior. The space features a large open living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room, as well as two bedrooms and a hallway.
