Modern Home has completed the Monte Serino Residence in San Francisco, California. Decorated in deep colors the mansion combines all-pervading warmth and elegance of style. Built on two levels, it consists of a succession of enclosed and open spaces closely related to the surrounding landscape of the dwelling. The rear of the building looks out over the large pool, and the wide windows and glass doors of the second floor open onto a cozy terrace.
Crowning the composition is the living room, which brings the atmosphere of luxury and grandeur.
Every corner of the residence is literally saturated with light and air. Wood trim gives the rooms a traditional look, while concrete and steel elements add to the dynamics of a modern metropolis.
Of particular note are the large hallways lined with rows of bookshelves that seem to create transitions between tradition and modernity.
