Modern city architecture: the unique Nest extension by Crepain Spaens Debie Architecten, a street decoration, Antwerp, Belgium

The Nest Apartments in Antwerp

In contrast to the fragmented, texturally complex, asymmetrical façade, the house's interior looks unique and whole.

The walls of the apartment are covered with lime plaster, while the floor is a smooth wood-and-concrete board with a polyurethane surface. Both bathrooms – floor and wall are watertight and easy to clean.

All the furniture is made of birch wood, which certainly adds The design of a small apartment Warmth and homeliness. The color scheme is very harmonious and soft. In tones like these – sand, pebbles, wood bleached by the sea – you find on the beaches of Camargue in the South of France, calm and serene, just like this small apartment.
