The order was made for a private client. This property is located in a garden in the heart of Dublin. The building includes three floors.

The rough-hewn granite fence is an extension of the garden. On the first floor level, a partition wall encircles the entire perimeter of the building. It consists mainly of solid granite, but in some places it forms slit screens. It allows natural light to enter the home.

The entrance hall – is the central room in the room, around which the living rooms are arranged. Light pours in from above. From the outside of the structure, the lower level is completely hidden from view.

Burren House was designed by Níall McLaughlin Architects, based in London.
