Living lake house – conceptual forms in a project by JM Architechture
The Living Lake House, a project by JM Architecture, is a unique take on a residential abode with its hypnotic, conceptual forms. The design is meant to encourage an immersive experience with nature as the walls of the house frame the lakebed and nature outside its windows. The home is thoughtfully divided into public and private zones, where public areas are highlighted by an open, centralized space while private alcoves make up the rest of the house. The entire structure is constructed out of recycled materials, making it an environmentally conscious project as well. Not only does this home provide respite from densely populated areas, its eye-catching design makes it a one-of-a-kind experience.
As a result, the architecture of the building, its flowing lines, the transparent glass walls evoke the feeling that the house is an extension of the water surface of the lake.
