Years worked are taken into account only at the main place of employment – there will be no payments for combination. For some professions, 1 month of real work experience can be equated to 1.5 or 2 months.
How is calculated
Payments for long work – a percentage of the current official salary. The monthly salary increase is calculated from the next month after the conditions. Allowance size
Interest on length of service is established by state employees taking into account the harmfulness of working conditions. A separate normative act is in force for each area, the content of which regulates the size of the premium and the timing of its receipt.

The amount of payments is determined by Art. 50 of the Federal Law “On State Civil Service in the Russian Federation”.

State employees

Work in the Far North
In accordance with Art. 316-37 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation is a zone with harmful and dangerous working conditions – employees of the region receive a surcharge for work experience. The amount is calculated based on the number of years and area.
In the Far North, personnel receive the first bonus for experience after six months of work, and the increase occurs at a similar interval. The initial “rate” of northern payments and the step of their increase is 10%. Depending on the area, the maximum amount will change (from 50% to a maximum of 100%). Special conditions apply to young workers under the age of 30: their first allowance in six months is 20%.
Private employees
Private companies accrue payments for continuous work experience. If the requirement is not provided for in the collective agreement, there will be no surcharge for years worked.
Supplement to retirement pension
Citizens with extensive experience in the specialized field receive a bonus along with access to state support due to age.
Members of the flight crew, coal industry experts, military personnel and “northerners” can count on an increase. The subsidy is accrued for each “extra” worked year in the sphere, reaching 85% of the pension.
