10 ways to make your radiator look better

Not all heating radiators look standard and ugly, there are design options that our site of advice wrote about in detail. But not everyone can afford such models of heating batteries. So you have to come up with ways to hide or refine the appearance of the radiator with your own hands.

The first option is very simple. The frame is made of thin bars according to the dimensions of your radiator, and on top, a plastic or metal grate attached with a construction stapler under the mat. Yes, you will need to buy such a grill, but it costs literally a penny. You will do the rest yourself.

A very similar option, only in the previous case the radiator was recessed in a niche, therefore the frame was appropriate. Here, the heating battery protrudes from the wall, so the frame was made more visible, carved, painted with paint. But the lattice is again the most common, cut to size and attached with a stapler.

The lathing is made of simple wooden battens. Its trick is that the rack-and-pinion design does not correspond to the dimensions of the radiator. It stretches along the entire window. Therefore, it completely masks the heating battery, while freely passing warm air.
