SPG Architects has designed a beautiful and serene sanctuary for a young couple from the big city. This picturesque project is located in Pawling, NY, USA. It features an open-plan design that maximizes outdoor views and natural light while ensuring ample space for modern living. It includes a modern, energy-efficient kitchen, wide windows with stunning views, and a large balcony that invites outdoor activities. The architecture seeks to provide a stress-free environment that helps the couple connect with nature while getting away from the stress of city life. With all these features, the sanctuary offers a comfortable, tranquil, and well-designed living experience.
The two-story house sits on a 2 acre lot and has a total square footage of 1,014 square feet.. The whole space is divided into zones: living room, dining room, kitchen, dining room…. The second floor, where the rooms are located, is combined with the first floor in the living room area. Interestingly designed master bedroom serving as a relaxation space while not being separated by walls from the living space of the house. The garden residence has a pool and plenty of room for sunbathing and entertaining. Low natural stone walls that adorn green lawns give the feeling of owning your own mountain.
