Alpine Mirage. A simple and sophisticated house by Ralph Germann Architectes, Switzerland

This sunny house in Valais, Switzerland designed by the renowned architectural firm Ralph Germann Architectes is an example of modern, simplicity merged with sophistication. It offers stunning valley views and was designed to embrace the alpine landscape. The stunning fusion of natural materials, such as concrete, steel, larch, and glass, offers a unique yet contemporary look and feel, while benefiting from the great advantages of passive design and solar-shading. Additionally, the clients requested for a large veranda to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the architect gladly executed the same, thereby creating a majestic outdoor space. The mesmerizing result of this project is an integral and harmonious entity with the environment, always changing with the altering light.

Especially for you, the informative forum will present the project in a snowy and cold climate, which does not make it any less attractive than projects in bright blooming nature. The construction of this creation was completed in 2012.

The house is located in Switzerland, and thought of literally everything in it, in order to live in harmony with the surrounding atmosphere. Given the features and charms of the surrounding nature, the architects made sure that the project absorbed all its beauty and displayed it in the stylish interior design.

The house uses special heating systems as heating, which need wood pellets. But perhaps the most exquisite – is the beautiful fireplace, which is entirely covered in thick laminated steel and up to 5 m high. Once the fire has been lit, you can admire the play of fire forever, warming not only your body, but also your soul.
