Atelier Boronski presents: a fascinating configuration of space โ Villa T House in the suburbs of Kyoto
Villa T House, located on the outskirts of Kyoto, is a spectacular construct presented by Atelier Boronski. The flat center of the structure is surrounded by a covered terrace, a lush green garden, and a mezzanine with a bedroom to immerse visitors in a harmonious balance of functionality and aesthetic. The use of vernacular style materials and minimal monochromatic color schemes, coupled with honest and simple geometries, give it an intrinsically unique quality. This captivating configuration of space provides the perfect opportunity to appreciate the wonders of both nature and architecture.
The architects have run into certain restrictions, which prescribe that the walls of the structure should only be parallel and vertical, the area of dormer windows should not exceed 2% of the roof area. So have been settled shades and material facade trim, the configuration of the roof and even the color (!) window frames.
Work on the cottage was done in accordance with all the requirements of local building codes. The construction is in the form of a rectangle, along its perimeter we inserted random fragments. Where one exterior is finished with white stucco, the other with metal siding imitating an aged wooden surface, the interior.
