Casa Calero is a small yet cozy residence situated in the bustling capital of Mexico City. It is built with recycled materials emphasizing sustainable and eco-friendly designs. The project was undertaken by DCPP arquitectos expertly combining minimalist and contemporary design to ensure the residence is built with cost-effectiveness in mind but also remains aesthetically pleasing. With smart design features, the residence is sure to help its inhabitants live a comfortable, modern lifestyle in harmony with nature.
Wood was the only additional element, as it meets the aesthetic and structural requirements. The other materials were the same. They were reworked and reused. Recycling has made this design sustainable as well as environmentally and socially friendly. Building board was used for thermal and sound insulation.
