The uniqueness of the structure is due to its L-shaped shape, it’s like an original art installation of impressive size. The smooth curve of the building creates a seamless structure, which cannot be achieved with traditional corner buildings. It is a peculiar shape of the house was the main desire of the customer. And, on top of that, the wooden façade of the curved design has its own distinctive features. We’re talking about its color: the wood is stained in various shades of red. A seamless transition from the wide ochre-colored planks, to the dark red narrow planks is made from the bedroom to the living room. The palette was inspired by the children’s book, Where’s the Tall Uncle’s Hat?”, the work of a Swedish writer.
As for the height of the house, it also varies. Part of the building is elevated where the bedrooms are, and a lowering of the roof is observed in the balcony area, which faces toward the living room. The geometry of the rooms is altered by the stretch ceilings which distort the gables of the mansion. The spacious kitchen is in the middle of the structure. Windows are positioned to allow plenty of sunlight to pass through, yet still maintain the privacy of the room. Talented designers did a pretty good job on the project. And as a result we can say with confidence that this masterpiece as a whole is an amazing example of interior design.
