Dear visitors of Forum City! We want to please you with interesting novelties. For this we went to a distant and cold Norway on the ski resort Geilo and found quite a lot of space there extraordinary house.
The house is designed for a family of four. Designed Mountain Lodge in conjunction with the architectural studio Reyulf Ramstal Arkitekter.
The house is located on a mountainside. That’s why the architects designed it on several levels. All living areas are in separate units which are joined in the center by a large room. From above, the cottage looks like a big star on a snowy hill.
From the inside, the high triangular ceilings give the impression of a star. The dining room and living room are arranged in an original way. Large pentagonal windows offer striking views.
More often than not, wood is used in the finish, which is relevant to the northern climate. This house is warmer than a stone one. From an environmental point of view, the material is also preferred. And it takes much less energy to heat the building.
Children’s bedrooms have loft beds. It’s fun for kids. There’s still plenty of room for games and activities.
In the central block there are bedrooms of adults, guest rooms, bathroom and sauna. The wishes of all possible occupants have been taken into account: a living room for the young, a bedchamber for grandparents who often visit relatives.
In the center there is a kitchen table with a hob and a sink. Its tabletop is made of fiberglass and reinforced concrete. Unobtrusively placed around the lungs Designer chairs. Attractive niches in the walls. They’re used for seating and shelving, brightening up the interior.
The whole house, inside and out, is tranquil and reassuring, promising comfort and warmth for many years to come. What do you think of this structure in the mountains??
