Here’s what Associats Isern himself tells us about his creation: “For me, the landscape cannot exist by itself. From the moment of its appearance it changes at any moment, but the surrounding atmosphere brings it back to life again. Light and air – these are things that change all the time. For me it’s – just the environment, which can be just a decorative element and give the interior a true meaning.”

The premise for the design of this home is simple – it was necessary to build a building on a very steep land surface with a slope of almost 100%, with a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. Moreover, the budget for the building was considerably limited. It was therefore this challenging site surrounded by pine forests that was chosen for the project and determined the design of much of the.

On the one hand, the small size of the plot to build the building and its difficult surface, on the other hand –the desire to leave a minimal footprint on the ground, sent the authors in search of a hill with the appropriate trees. They will have to surround the house, well anchored to the ground and arranged so that each branch becomes the floor of the upper floor and, at the same time, the ceiling of the lower floor. All this helps to create a building with a very unusual architecture, thanks to which, organically intertwined the interior with the exterior.
