Peaks View Mansion by Carney Logan Burke Architects: The spirit of modernity in a traditional home in Wilson, Wyoming

Peaks View Mansion, designed by Carney Logan Burke Architects in Wilson, Wyoming, is a traditional home infused with modern elements. Located at the base of Teton Range, the Mansion commands exceptional views of the peaks and nearby nature that brings both beauty and serenity. The modern design includes expansive windows, open floor plan, inviting outdoor terrace with a pool, and warm fireplace that are all perfect for family living and entertaining. Additionally, advanced building technology was integrated to provide both a modernistic and energy-efficient experience. The contemporary Mansion brings a sense of dream-like yet practical living to its residents, creating a stylish and comfortable home that will remain timeless for many years to come.

The effect of the residence is enhanced by the external design of the building, which is a high pavilion with windows set to the full height of the wall. The pavilion is crowned by a modern double pitch voluminous roof. Undoubtedly, this house is an ideal place for a rhythmic modern life. The roof is designed in a minimalist style – no unnecessary details. When you look at it, you get the impression that it is only held together by a chimney, but that’s not the case. The roof has an elongated shape which means it overhangs the small concrete area in front of the house and adds to the unconventional feel of the building.

According to the designer’s concept, the center of the residence is an open dining area in the middle of the yard. The interior of the house features well chosen classic furniture combined with rich, modern wood veneered ceilings. The staircase and parapet made of wooden boards are a particular eye-catcher.
