Today our informative forum will tell readers about Acropolis View House. Minas Kosmidis converted it in 2012 into a modern country residence for a client in Thisio, Athens, Greece. The rustic touches add to the warmth of this house and the glass walls offer a beautiful view of the Acropolis and let the sunlight fill the entire space.

The villa is a restored two-story apartment building of about 100 square meters. A bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a small living room, a toilet and a storeroom are on the first floor. Light pours in through two windows. The walls and doors have been replaced by large moveable wooden panels.
Opposite the entrance is a staircase with solid walnut steps. It takes you to the second floor. The kitchen, dining room and living room are next to the veranda. A staircase from the veranda takes you up to the terrace, where you have a breathtaking view of the sky of Attica.
The basic color – beige. The marble flooring blends in perfectly with the black metal constructions. The lighting of the house, both inside and out, is done so as not to disturb the harmony with the surrounding historic area.
The understated luxury reflects the client's and architect's main idea – a view of the Acropolis from the second floor. When you visit this house you will be immersed in a pleasant, nostalgic atmosphere.
