Modern and stylish House V with great views over the Mediterranean Sea, Girona, Spain

Most Spanish houses are terraced houses – the mansion is surrounded by a small garden and has a terrace with its own swimming pool. We want to present one of the Spanish houses, made, as most similar buildings in the so-called “Mediterranean village” style. However, the original design solution allows you to attribute this building to the group of unusual and unique houses of the world.

Unforgettable view of the Mediterranean from the terrace of the house will impress anyone with its beauty and splendor. And the modern interior design, done in light colors, along with the exterior wall decoration harmonizes with the surrounding southern nature. What I like the most is the interesting design of the terrace – when necessary, special shutters create protection from bad weather and wind, while allowing air to flow in.

The architects of one of the studios located in Barcelona, realized the author’s project of the house, called “House V”. The building itself is located in Girona, Spain.

Here’s what the planners themselves say: “The House of Roses is a building that was designed as a single-family home. The project is based on the concept, the union of space, but at the same time preserved its individuality, designed to ensure a comfortable stay in this small villa. The house meets all legal requirements for apartment buildings and can be divided into three independent parts.

One of the walls is very steep, it resembles a kind of watchtower, looking out over the Bay of Roses. This modern Spanish house is a large stone structure standing on a horizontal platform. The stairs to the house comprise two independent platforms. Part of the platform leads to a public and spacious interior and to an exterior terrace with a pool, which sits above a Mediterranean garden. The panoramic terrace is long enough to be warmed at one end by the southern sun and to offer a stunning view of the horizon between sea and sky at the other end.

Several porches are built of wood, which allows for regulated sun access, and provides privacy. They are the finishing touch to this modern Spanish property.
