After approving the idea, the MVRDV worked closely with numerous partners to develop the technology for the project. The strong glass bricks were individually cast and designed by Poesia in Resana, near Venice.
The research was carried out by Delft University of Technology in cooperation with the design firm ABT and the contractor Wessels Zeist. Used a potent, UV bonding, clear adhesive from Delo Industrial Adhesives to glue the blocks together without using traditional lime.
