Moreover, in contrast to the bathroom and the restroom in the kitchen, you can organize not only an exhaust hood, but also an inflow, for which fans inserted into the window are used.

True, in recent years, exhaust umbrellas have been used more and more often in kitchens. In our country, the most widespread so-called recirculating hoods, which clean the air from odors, vapors and cigarette smoke, and then return it to the room. Sometimes such devices are equipped with additional equipment, for example, antibacterial ultraviolet lamps. However, kitchen umbrellas are more effective, removing air outside the room, usually through an existing duct system. It is especially recommended to use such devices in combined kitchens and dining rooms, since in this case, together with odors, excess heat is removed from the street, which makes it possible to greatly reduce the power of the air conditioner used in this room.

Despite the fact that kitchen vapors and odors are drawn into the street, such systems also include filters and, in most cases, a system for drying the removed air. This is necessary in order to keep the air ducts and the fan intact and safe, to prevent their corrosion and overgrowth with decomposition products of organic fats.

Therefore, they usually go the other way – create a supply ventilation system. It can be organized in two ways: use a ready-made supply unit or assemble it from separate elements, such as a fan, filter, electric heater, sound attenuator.
