Nature of British Columbia

Let’s start with a photo Lizzie Judd took in British Columbia. The Western Canadian province has a capital city with a beautiful romantic name, Victoria. Vancouver is known the world over. Half of the province’s residents live there, more than 2 million to be exact. There is very little arable land in the west, but agriculture is quite developed.

Three-quarters of this area is mountains, undulating landscaping with heights of a kilometer, and slopes covered with forests. The splendor of the shades of green trees that change their tone depending on the distance and the whiteness of the settling fog, or maybe even clouds, in soft tongues separates them and at the same time unites them.

A girl in national dress stands out as a splash of color against nature. A poncho of soft and warm wilted rose color does not create a conflict of colors, but does not merge with the blue-ultramarine background created by the mountains. The fragile human figure shows us the depth and range of British Columbia’s vast expanse.

The Simpson Wilderness in the photo by Reinhard Gaemlich

To capture its unique natural landscape design, Photographer Reinhard Gaemlich climbed with his model into the sands of the Simpson Desert, which is located in Australia. The area is striking for its unusual colors and size. In all directions, up to the horizon, giant waves of barchans. Since there is no vegetation, the diversity is only in shades of red.

Traveller’s footprints like machine stitch stitches on iridescent fabric. The little figurine of a big man lost in the vast expanse of inanimate nature.

The World's Tallest Tree

Let’s move north to California and see the world’s tallest tree. Only there are still sequoias growing on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. These are the largest living creatures on Earth. In our place the age-old oaks are considered to be the long-livers. But these trees live much longer, up to 4,000 years.

Can you imagine a green plantation with a park and a parking lot next to it?. Create landscaping inside the plant itself.

The sequoyadendron in front of you, nicknamed Hyperion. At 113 meters tall, it now claims to be the world’s tallest. By comparison, this plant is taller than a 40-story house. Before the death of the Father of Forests, towering 135 meters, it ranked second.

To see all the greatness of the tree help climbers, who set up on it a kind of training base. Several people are at different heights and distances from the camera. They look like little New Year’s decorations. You can cut one branch and build a house in the hollow for all fans of climbing on steep surfaces.

Photo of the waterfall by Joshua Meador

Joshua Meador captures the majestic waterfall. Its beauty, not the falling water in any cold weather. This makes it similar to all the other downstream rivers. Splash and frost have created a bizarre colonnade of ice crystals.

The rock is made of granite, its height above the lake is 28 meters. But the droplets cling to hard rock, then to each other, and form the fairy kingdom of the Snow Queen. Once again, the man and his dog allow us to appreciate the true magnitude of the unique waterfall from Oregon State.

Stone Walkway And signs lead tourists to admire Abiqua Falls. Less than a kilometer away are a number of hotels and tourist camps. In the summer, adrenaline kayakers jump in their boats with the water current into the lake. Then wildflowers paint the slopes in different colors, but the snow-white charm is gone.

The cove near Shelter Cove

A figurine of an athlete with a surfboard is more of an artistic image. This place is too rugged and not popular with wave-skaters. Underwater rocks protrude from the water like breakwaters, and the spray reaches several meters into the water.

Casey McCallister, a well-known California artist, captured the bay near Shelter Cove. The area is quite settled and popular with tourists. But rest here mostly retirees. Some then move here to live.

Nearby, behind the rock, a fishing village. It contains and unique hotels, adapted for quiet and unhurried visitors, who are not attracted to swimming and sunbathing in loungers, but walk along the coastal paths, sea air and peace. Many dream of spending time here after years of working and living in a bustling metropolis.

The village has stores with everything you need for every day. Those wishing to do some shopping can head to the nearest supermarket 20 kilometers away.

Photo of mountains in Alaska

Freestyle skiing in Alaska can’t be compared to downhill skiing, where there are park stairs. You have to be a very good skier to fly in such a chasm. But judging by the tracks, this is not the first hero. And the rock is like a tease. To the right of the man the snow below the cave sags with his tongue out. The scale of the ski slopes, the height and uniqueness of the white cliffs, mesmerizing. Adrenaline starts to flow from just looking at it, and there is no need to jump on skis.

Granite mountains in Iceland

Max Rive captures his characters on top of rock piles. These are the remnants of the granite mountains in Iceland. Softer rocks gradually washed away by the rains and melting waters of glaciers. Only such formidable guards remain, a giant field of lowland and pointed boulders.

The green valley is all littered with streams. High up in the mountains the glaciers are melting. And at the foot of the mountains, summer and the color of grass and flowers overcomes the gloomy color of the rocks. Nature has created a miracle, the greatness of which tourists come to see and feel themselves tiny parts of the great world.

Atnajökull Ice Cap Park

Iceland, land of ice and snowy tales. Warm air pierces through the glaciers. The caves sparkle from the refracted sunlight, like diamonds. It was into such an arch of frozen water that photographer Alvar Utley led his hero. Landscape design Atnajökull Ice Cap Park can be defined as the Ice Vanguard.

The play of colors from white to ultramarine, light and deep shade. The surface is uneven, but all the transitions are smooth and slippery. Not everyone can admire such beauty. Only climbers and great thrill-seekers overcome such a difficult path to the shining caves.

Landscape Landmannalaugard in Iceland

Max Rive is in love with Landmannalaugard, so he is photographing this area of Iceland again. Even a guy standing on the same rock. Only now there is no fog, and the colors have clear borders, as if drawn with a brush.

Tuscan landscape by Przemyslaw Kruk

Now let’s leave the harsh north and head south for warmth. Because warm countries also know how to amaze by uniqueness and originality of nature’s creations.

Italians are a hot and temperamental people. But they’re also very hard-working and value their family more than anything else. After all, even the word mafia means family. And they’re also in love with their land and their mountains.

Notice how smooth the landscape design. Mountains without a single sharp ledge and yet more than a kilometer above sea level. The history of the area is also interesting. Tuscany was first settled by the Etruscans. This is the birthplace of –Renaissance art. Now an economically and culturally developed area within Italy. It is located on the west of the well-known Cape Peninsula. Its capital, Florence, has a developed tourist industry, and many of our compatriots go there on vacation.

In a small area there are as many mountain ranges. In spite of this, farming is well developed here, and every convenient piece of land is sown. When the fields are covered with vegetation, the mountain slopes become like an extension of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Stunning landscaping Of western Italy, warm and welcoming Tuscany. Przemysław Kruk took his picture in April 2014, when only part of the sown crops were beginning to sprout.

The coast in southern Italy

The town of Positano sits on the slopes of mountains in southern Italy. The kid is safe to strip off his clothes and get in the water. It’s always warm here and the small sandy beaches fill with vacationers during the day. Unusual hotels Located on the neighboring mountains of the city center.

One of them stands on top, behind the man. His quarters are partially hollowed out in the rock, and the grounds and balconies are overgrown with bright southern flowers. You can take an elevator down to the beach, or take the long walk to the circle, safe paths.

The town is nestled into the steep slopes of. It has no streets crossing it from end to end. The houses are scattered for several kilometers and the administrative buildings are right up against the gentle slope. Stone walkway leads from one dwelling to another. On the sea side there are mostly stone cliffs. Therefore, for the convenience of guests, the slopes are pierced in granite.

And this is close to us Belarus, with its swamps and unique layered fog. The girl’s red dress contrasts against the emerald background. Green plantations Here stand mostly on the peat bogs, often just in the water. Only the trunks of birch trees are white.

Around a fragile figure on nature’s unreliable bridge of fallen trunk, droughts and sparse islands of unreliable land. I even wonder how Ivan Litovchin persuaded a weak woman to pose in such a dangerous place.

The Krkonose Mountains in Poland

The Poles call these mountains the Giant Mountains. And the highest peak is affectionately called Śnieżka. Perhaps because it has 1602 meters above sea level, and is constantly covered with snow. Its climate cannot be called gentle, as strong winds are added to the cold.

A person to find where stone path, In a haze of clouds and whiteness, handmade railings of poles and rope help. They’re completely covered in frost and still don’t let you fall into the abyss and go astray.

A Celtic forest in Ireland

Forests in Ireland occupy a small part, a little more than a tenth of the land. But look how gorgeous it is. A warm current brings moist air and warms the trees in winter. In summer, the ocean keeps the heat from drying out plants. And as a result, this Celtic forest of broadleaved varieties has grown.

A mighty arch over a man’s head. Many botanical gardens of the world imported seeds and try to grow these species of oaks with very valuable wood.

Troll's Tongue Mountain in Norway

Troll’s tongue has long been a hallmark of Norway. Any tourist booklet inviting in the most unusual hotels, point to the possibility of visiting this place.

The heroine in Alex Imanuel Koch’s photo is different from the other heroes who dared to climb this overhanging rock over the precipice. Usually sitting on the edge of the tongue, with their legs overhung. But this is already a classic. And here’s a gymnast doing the splits, standing on her hands, a really brave girl. Although so small among these mountains and rocks.
