
This project was an experiment in using an almost monochromatic color scheme with a mix of splits, patterns and textures to create a neutral backdrop that will allow the owner to add life and color to the space with their belongings and character in the future. At first glance, the "almost monochromatic" palette is obvious; it makes the eye wander slowly through the space and notice the different hues and textures.

As you approach the large two-story house with commercial-type windows, the framing of the copper old paneling becomes noticeable, which begins to show subtle tones of green and blue.

Engineered white oak wood floors are painted in a light gray matte hue with a slight shimmer that is revealed only under the light. The doors are covered in a dark gray tone and fitted with black hardware. Plumbing and electrical appliances – Matte black, they look like a departure from the typical silver finish.
