A modern take on the coastal home – a stunning residence with unique architecture

Natural color of local rocks was used for walls coloring, and dark gray was used for the external facade. In fact, they wanted the house to look like an organic extension of the shoreline.

Given that the marine environment is quite aggressive and destroys most building materials, we chose materials with high insulating properties. This is the basis for the minimalist interior. Which does not make it any less elegant, classy or beautiful.

Quick and easy maintenance was also a consideration. Because sea sand has a way of creeping in everywhere. Staircase design in a strict and functional home used polished black marble. Walls and floors made of wood.

Elements of the nautical style were used here and there: a wrought iron chest instead of an ottoman in the bedroom, a traditional chest of drawers like in authentic seaside towns in the comfortable living room. Not forgotten is the laconic, but very fashionable and modern fireplace. Luxurious wicker furniture and mats complete the image.
