A cozy home in the woods is a private residence owned by a young family. They turned to Claim design studio for help in creating their family nest, who were given strict conditions in the construction, architecture and interior space design. Every inch of the interesting construction is the result of the client’s close collaboration with the design team. Among thousands of options, they chose the one that is best and most comfortable for the occupants.

The creation of the living area began with the arrangement of the exterior, a stylish and laconic facade, restrained lines and non-standard forms are used as a reproduction of the individuality of the owners, who want to cancel stereotypes and express their character. The basis was taken the concept of a traditional bungalow, with its openness and simplicity of decoration with natural materials and organic textures. Also in preference smooth transitions, lack of clear boundaries, the ratio of surfaces and volume. Because this is what the clients desired, their needs were fully met.

The basic structure of an interesting house project in Germany consists of two slightly turned cuboids, each about 60 sq. . The plot on which this modern home is built is in a forest near Potsdam. This is an ideal living environment, a cozy cottage surrounded by mature pine trees that form a stunning play of light and shade, projecting even inside through large windows.

Laconic home décor, restrained palette and functionality are a clear asset to the home, where the owners feel comfortable surrounded by an inspiring ambiance. The location has the added advantage that there is no need to design the site, because the lawn is a combination of tall pines and deciduous trees.
