Given the complex nature of the plot, its natural slope and the specificities of the landscape, ColectivArquitectura decided to design Aroeira III House as a U-shaped block composition, with the maximum horizontal spacing. The first floor is partially embedded in the ground – a non-standard solution which surprised Forum City.
The huge glazed surface required a reinforced foundation and a complex monolithic reinforced concrete frame. The lower level offers a two car garage, a hall overlooking the courtyard and a stylish swimming pool, as well as technical rooms. Above is the master bedroom with private bathroom and guest apartment. The advantageous North-South orientation of the living room provides a splendid all-round panorama of the picturesque surroundings.
