We take great pleasure in offering you a glimpse of the most interesting works of great architects, one of which is The New Hold house, a modern home located in the central Australian city of Melbourne, Victoria. In 2012 the famous architect Jessica Liew has shown the world her next creation, in the creation of which she focused on the advantageous contrast of a simple modern design against the glamorous glitz and pop culture of our days.
What Jessica Liew herself says about The New Old:
The main aim of the architects was to create a secluded, tranquil and almost totally energy-independent house. Practicality and simplicity are expressed through the use of only natural building materials that blend perfectly with the magnificent collection of antiques and souvenirs brought from all parts of the globe. The territory of the two-storey building is divided into a living room, three bedrooms, where you can have a good rest and sleep, the same number of bathrooms, room for games and entertainment, parking for three cars, library, wine cellar, office and laundry room.
Creating the interior the masters mainly used concrete and stone constructions, bricks and natural wood. The result is a wonderful house with a fascinating atmosphere.
