This apartment building is located in Morin-Heights, Canada. It’s 200 sq. ., it was commissioned in 2012. Situated this house in the woods, on the hillside of a mountainous area, which gives the structure even more inconspicuous against the background of the surrounding landscape.
The entire façade of this mansion has been finished in white cedar, which over time will darken slightly and merge with the bark of the surrounding trees. The simple design is made with natural wood, in perfect harmony with the white niches in which the window frames are inserted.
The kitchen is the focal point of the whole house and stands out for its functionality. Lounge and dining room are on either side of the kitchen, which makes it more cozy and comfortable. The unusually large windows in the living room let the sunlight enter unobstructed.
The polished concrete kitchen floor continues onto the terrace, creating with it an integration of the residence. The minimalist interior is done completely in calm and soft colors, thus giving a friendly atmosphere, while a few bright decorative details enhance it. Simplicity and luxury, style and impeccability of each Interior décor characterize this design solution.
