Elegant Överby House summer home – a stylish project by John Robert Nilsson, Sweden

This beautiful summer home is built to the strictest architectural specifications. Sharp shapes and flowing lines lend grace to this project. This premise is the most modern. After all, part of civilization is located in the wilds of the Stockholm archipelago, on top of the most rocky promontory.

The clear glass walls on the sea side and the contrast of the white and dark of the West Coast are the main features of this home. Only quality materials were used for the design: Gotland limestone and silver-white ash.

These materials create a chic look to the house, from the stone floor to the light beige ceiling. The exterior of this striking example of modern Stockholm property is covered in matte black plaster, roofing felt and powder-coated steel. It sits on the outer edge of a stone block and is surrounded by an overflow pool, and wooden steps lead to the pier at the bottom of the bay.
