The architectural group Studio Arthur Casas based in Brazil has designed a breathtaking portfolio of four houses on Baleia beach. These contemporary homes boast a multitude of modern qualities, such as large glass walls, open plan living, luxurious furnishings, and breathtaking sea views. Each house also reflects the unique Caribbean culture of the region, utilizing natural materials such as Brazilian-sourced wood and stone. Thus, this portfolio marks a perfect balance between modern and local design elements, making it a truly captivating example of modern Brazilian architecture.
To ensure privacy, the structures were built a little uneven, to say the least. Although they stand very close to each other, the vertical gardens seem to separate them, isolating them from their neighbors and rejecting the effect of proximity. Large glass panels designed here blur the boundaries between the living area and the landscape. In front of each terrace there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna on the foundation. Not a place, but a dream!
