Dear visitors to our informative forum will find it easy to agree with the opinion that for people who get tired of their own kind very quickly, there is no better place than on an island. This is what the creators of The Park Point House from Vaughn McQuarrie Architecture & Design.
The lounge area, flanked by a wood-paneled terrace, is shaded from the glare of the sun by hinged outdoor blinds. You can leave the room through sliding doors.
This allows you to sit in the shade, sip refreshments, and enjoy sweeping views of the forest and ocean stretching to the horizon.
The kitchen is fully equipped and separated from the dining room with a decorative and original partition. Windows on the sun- and heat-exposed side of the building are small. This is done to reduce penetration of the above-mentioned negative factors.
