The villa was built between 1880 and 1910, then it became a normal ranch where cattle were raised and apiaries for honey production were located. In 2006 the current owners bought the dilapidated hacienda and the renovation process began. The idea was not to demolish the remaining masonry elements but rather to preserve and reinforce the old walls and build modern structures.
