Dear readers of Forum City, we offer a virtual trip to Colombia, a dangerous but beautiful country. In the east side of Medellín (the capital of Colombia), the new Las Palmas House cottage designed by Carlos Molina.
The design of the building is made by the rules of modern fashion. Clean and simple lines, regular shape. Big glass windows make the most of the sunlight, but it is not a faceless rectangular box, like many in the neighborhood. The building is on two levels. The front facade is decorated with an open balcony, while the back facade is decorated with an enclosed balcony and inlaid with glass panels and wooden false grilles. The side parts are completed with architectural constructions that give the residence its unique appearance: a tower in the form of a cube on the right and an original carport on the left.
Judging by the interior photography, the artistic decoration of the house is done in classic black and white with a small splash of metallic, the space is visually maximized. On both floors there are sculptures that blend in seamlessly with the big picture, they create a special atmosphere of lightness and coziness. The second tier is interrupted by a living room, covered on both sides only by glass and wood, with a staircase with glass steps leading to the top.
