It’s definitely different from the standard cottages we’re used to seeing, isn’t it dear subscribers and guests of Forum City? It was not an easy job, as the construction was on a rocky hillside, but it was the surrounding terrain that gave inspiration for the overall style of the villa. The main structure is made of natural material – stone.
The natural finish of the walls complicates the simple geometric shape of the house, making it both strong and rigid. Glass facades allow the owners to admire the landscape, because the house is as if surrounded by a dense forest. They also provide excellent natural light. A small lawn sits on the projecting roof of the first floor. The use of wood on the outdoor terrace, softens the harshness of the building. The riot of colors outside the cottage is balanced by the monochrome palette of modern furniture.
