A private residence for a married couple designed by SAOTA and completed in 2010. The peculiarities of the coastline forced the designers to embed parts of the structure in the sandstone. This is how the basement of the triplex is laid out. Provides parking for 10 cars. Large brown doors conceal the entrance to the garage and are also the entrance to the house. Take the elevator or stairs to the second level. It is divided into two parts, in which the meeting room, living room, kitchen, pantry, bar, dining room, studio are ideally located. Spouses love to host guests. The owners’ hospitality is evident in the large number of recreational and dining spaces.
Panoramic windows allow you to view the west and north side of the mountainside and the cliff called Lion’s Head. The outdoor terraces are decorated with flowers, trees and shrubs that have been taken from a nearby nature reserve. The plants are simple, accustomed to the local harsh conditions, so the cost of supplemental irrigation system can be minimized. On the second level of the project, the authors have placed a large swimming pool. This cozy and comfortable villa can be rightly called a territory of relaxation.
