Unusual private home architecture with panoramic windows and a flat roof

This captivating private home features an innovative design, boasting panoramic windows and a flat roof. The spacious windows allow an abundance of natural light to enter the interior, brightening and rejuvenating the entire space. This architecture also offers a modern aesthetic, whilst allowing for a contemporary lifestyle – conserving energy and resources. Furthermore, the flat roof provides a sleek, outdoor living space and breath-taking views of the surrounding scenery. This unique building design offers a seamless fusion between beauty and function.

A magnificent mansion B25 is a private residence with a spacious area of 457 square meters, designed and realized by the architectural firm PK Arkitektar. Incredibly attractive countryside dream house Situated on the outskirts of the small town of Reykjavik, Iceland, in a quiet and secluded location where the land descends from the street to the southwest side of the yard.

The house was conceived by the decorators and architects in an unusual appearance with an unpretentious and massive façade that limits the view of the interior of the apartments from the street, providing privacy in a busy suburban neighborhood. However, the back of the mansion with the adjacent green area due to the wide panoramic window blocks has a sense of openness and permeability, harmoniously uniting the internal space with the surrounding nature.

Monolithic Decorating the front of the house Conceals in its construction a niche, hiding the entrance doorway. A vertical glass section on the snow-white wall interrupts the façade and provides a view of the central space of the house. This glazed void draws a kind of boundary between the private areas and the social areas of life inside the house and allows daylight to penetrate both floors of the structure.

The sloping topography allows the inner courtyard and basement to be hidden from public view and provides a magnificent view of the nearby peninsula Aulftanes.

The stairways on either side of the building descend to the basement and end in a minimalist garden area.

Red stone cladding

The gravel surfaces on the back patio surrounding the unusual house embody the desert landscape of local Icelandic nature. Complementing the composition is a lush lawn, stone slabs, greenery around the perimeter of the site and a solitary tree in the rear. A stark contrast to the lush vegetation and magnificent gardens creates the dry character of the terrace, which is applied in keeping with the countryside and landscape.

The decor of the living room is minimalist. Light shade palette is complemented by contrasting colors Interior Design in black. A striking illumination system and muted dark curtains allow sunlight to filter into the room, allowing the space to be filled with radiance and warmth.

A magnificent monolithic wall protects the glass cube from prying eyes and strong winds, creating an incredibly attractive and fantastic façade. Small gravel paths in the interior create a harmonious link between the interior and the charming natural surroundings.
