A unique bioclimatic pavilion is an innovative eco-project for the Institute of Contemporary Architecture

This extraordinary bioclimatic pavilion is the latest eco-project of the Institute of Contemporary Architecture. With features such as an open-air venue, the use of natural cooling airflows, a water-saving technology system, and a zero-carbon footprint, this pavilion provides a refreshing and sustainable atmosphere. It is a unique blend of architecture and sustainability, enabling people to enjoy nature at its best. Additionally, it is designed to reduce energy consumption and improve air quality, providing a healthier environment for everyone. All in all, this project is a fantastic example of a successful sustainability-oriented design that offers integrated comfort and eco-friendliness.

Today let’s talk about the bioclimatic pavilion designed and built by Margen-Lab and the Institute of Contemporary Architecture of Catalonia at the 10th International Fab Lab Conference, held last July in Barcelona.

Architect Rodrigo Rubio Cuadrado said the design was developed on a global scale. It took 5 days of Fab Lab volunteers from around the world to make it. However, some panels are pre-assembled in the lab.
