In 2013, the architectural practices of 3LHD designed a delightful contemporary family home. Located in an attractive setting, close to the sea and on the gentle slope of the resort area.
The existing structure consisted of retaining walls, terraces, and stairwells that were unusable, which were replaced and restored. We suggest that the readers of Forum City learn more interesting details and Discuss interior design, which is the result of fruitful work.
Existing stone walls of varying heights were used as a base, to lay new typographic layers horizontally and vertically. The gentle, wavy roof is set to match the geometry of the whitewashed façade, and panoramic windows complete the luxurious exterior.
For ergonomic use of space, the kitchen and dining room are set up in the same room. Amazing chandeliers were used as decor, hovering elegantly above the dining table. And the furnishings themselves, from the chairs to the modular set, look just as charming. The natural beauty of the wood helps you feel at one with the world around you, and for a greater effect it was indispensable to install a modern ventilation system, which the architects took advantage of, giving preference to a modern, innovative counterpart.
A Mediterranean-inspired bedroom: elegant minimalism, simplicity and relaxed decor create a tranquil atmosphere for complete relaxation. The room has huge windows, letting in a delightful view of the vast horizon and making it part of the design. Similar arrangement in the bathroom: a neutral palette, unpretentious finishing, natural materials in warm shades and elegant snow-white sanitary ware.
The spacious terrace is partially open and has a large pool. The project included an interesting scheme: a deck on several levels, one of which has a connection to the stairs leading to the sea. The cladding is in natural stone or wood and between the two materials there are compact gardens adapted to the local climate Ornamental trees and shrubs.
The basic concept of the project was to create an ideal living environment, a cozy home that is as open as possible to the delightful nature of the Dubrovnik resort and sufficiently protected from negative climatic influences. Remarkable landscape and modern interior design merged into one picture, giving the owners unmatched feeling of being surrounded by the purest sea air and ideal scenery.

This beach house seems to embody the perfect blend of luxury and nature! I’m curious to know more about the contrast between the elegant interiors and the sweeping landscaping. How does this juxtaposition enhance the overall aesthetic and experience of the house? Could you provide more details on the specific elements that make this beach house so unique and visually appealing?
