An unusual Silver Bay house with ethnic elements from the famous SAOTA

Set along the stunning Silver Bay in South Africa, this magnificent home with ethnic elements designed by renowned architects at SAOTA highlights a mesmerizing fusion of the modern and the traditional. The house features modern architectural details accentuated by ethnic influences, such as custom-made timber and tile-clad walls and tastefully-curated alfresco spaces with sweeping sea views. Its open plan layout and natural stone surfaces add a sense of luxury, while its oversized windows allow plenty of light and stunning views. With its tranquil atmosphere, breathtaking vistas, and unique vibrancy, this Silver Bay house is truly a remarkable and one-of-a-kind achievement.

This dream home South Africa Was designed and built by SAOTA .

Three fundamental factors were taken into account here: the location of the building on a hill in close proximity to the ocean, the predominance of one direction wind, the sun being on the north side most of the day. And on this basis, experts have designed the object so that each step was logical, but unaccustomed to the modern man.

Approaching from the north, the courtyard and pool are the first to be seen, flooded and bathed in sunlight. Most of the walls of this floor are made of glass, so it seems almost transparent. On this side you can enter through doors into the dining room, kitchen and living room, combined into one room.

You can walk downstairs to the first floor where the bathrooms and bedrooms are. It also has oversized windows that can be shaded with dark curtains when necessary. Due to such a solution all the rooms, which will be mostly occupied by people, have a beautiful view of the seascape.

The interior decoration of this exotic home is quite in its spirit. Modern furniture, a minimum of details, natural, primary colors create a cozy space, which is not overly bright touches. However, there’s also something to look forward to. For example, the open hearth with a massive hood fascinates by exposing the very essence of the concept “fireplace”.
