Cosy 60 sqm land in the city Moscow, Russia. The project was completed in 2014 by the architectural firm Ruetemple.
Any family with young children faces the problem of finding time to relax and just sit in silence, which usually does not last long. Therefore, the designers’ task was to organize an area where a person can calm down and gain strength in just a couple of minutes.
It was decided to create an interior, which would meet the following requirements: firstly – to be the perfect opposite of the rest of the house, so that it would be based on other laws. Secondly, the design should set the people here at a calm and normal pace. Following these principles resulted in a very laconic space full of light. The concept involves the focus on a calming relaxation zone around the fireplace.
The rest of the space is central. On three sides, it is surrounded by shelving for books and small items.
