Modern design of wooden country house – full harmony with nature
This modern wooden country house has been designed to maximize harmony with nature, taking full advantage of the beauty of its natural surroundings. This house boasts spacious rooms with rustic features such as wooden beams and floor-to-ceiling windows which bring an abundance of natural light into the home. The interiors have been carefully crafted with traditional wood furnishings and accessories to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, with a terrace, a garden, and a comfortable seating area. This country house is the perfect retreat to relax and unwind in, without sacrificing modern comforts.
Nestled amidst New Zealand’s picturesque countryside, the Cloudy Bay Shack home is created in the same breath as its surroundings.
Its unusual original forms and exterior create a whole with nature.
Spacious windows are covered with special shields for privacy, and are also used to insulate the room from the scorching sun. It gives extra coolness on hot summer days.
The view from the room is breathtaking. Large glazing area allows you to blissfully admire the beauty of nature in all weather conditions. And on cool evenings it will be quite appropriate to sit in a comfortable atmosphere near a luxurious modern fireplace.
The unusual facade, finished in rusty metal, looks very creative in the evening. It looks especially harmonious in autumn, when the color of the surrounding foliage merges with the exterior of the house.
